Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 512F Riverside 1972 #13 Filipinetti Although still wearing itís full Scuderia Filipinetti livery and with Mike Parkes at the wheel, the 512F had been sold shortly before the Riverside Can-Am meeting to a wealthy American owner whose enthusiasm far exceeded his knowledge of racing or circuit etiquette. Parkes finished the race in tenth and so happy was the owner that he jumped behind the wheel to take a victory lap, resulting in disqualification! The model is beautifully finished and featured very delicate etched mountings for the wing mirrors, a detail which doesnít appear on the race photos that we have. Otherwise the decoration is mostly right and the model is numbered from an issue of just 50 examples.
