Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 512S Imola 500km 1970 Ferrari used the non-championship Imola race to test a few new parts on a special lightweight 512S with Merzario and Giunti handling driving duties. Although quick and taking the lead from the two JWA Porsche 917s, a faulty gear linkage left Merzario with a sprained wrist and the car eventually retired with fuel injection problems. Period amateur colour film from the race shows that MG have done a decent job on the overall shape and the decal placement and the paint finish is among the best that we’ve ever seen from them.
