Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 512S Daytona 1970 #30 Alternative version MGM512S039 #26 MGM512S040 #27 & MGM512S041 #28 Five examples of the 512S started the Daytona 24 hours in 1970, but only #28 finished, Andretti, Merzario & Ickx bringing it home third. On this car there was some fairly rough tape-work around the race numbers on the sides and this has been replicated with very neat octagonal decals on the model which are pretty, but not strictly accurate. There are subtle differences to decoration on all of the models and the rest of this is well observed, the privately entered #30 machine carrying a number of small sponsors not seen on the other works cars. On all of the models there are very neat etched vents in the rear deck and these along with the top of the engine cover are carefully painted white to contrast with the excellent red paint.
