Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 212 1st Angouleme 1951 #12 Fischer Alternative version MGMR43032 Turin MGMR43033 1st Albi & MGMR43035 3rd Sanremo With uncertainty over the future rules in Grand Prix racing, Ferrari built a number of different format machines in the early 1950s. This 2½-litre V12 powered machine was one of a pair and soon passed into the hands of Swiss racer Rudolf Fischer to be raced by him under the Ecurie Espadon banner. At Angouleme he won both his heat and the final, though to be fair his machine was rather superior to many of the others in the race. The shape of the car looks good and the well finished model replicates the red and white livery of the car pretty well.
