Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Delahaye 165 Cabriolet 1939 This spectacular example of Figoni & Falaschi’s craft always makes for a great modelling subject and this hefty resincast offering from Minichamps has real presence. As we’ve seen on previous 1:18 subjects in the Mullin Collection series, the front grille is completely cast, which would be better as a cast frame with etched inserts, but otherwise things are very well done. The bodywork looks fabulous with flawless paint and this is something of a dust magnet, so we would strongly advise a display case (BBVET1804B) to keep the model clean. Inside the cabin the carpets have been flocked and on our sample there was a little loose flocking which can be carefully cleaned out.
One of the market leaders in die-cast models. Good shapes, excellent paint and decoration. 1:43rds are kerbside while 1:18ths usually have plenty of opening parts and detail. Also an increasing number of 1:43 resincast models. Made in China.
