Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Audi 90 Quattro 1st Mid-Ohio 1989 #4 Stuck Number three in a series of models celebrating the long and varied careers of one of Germanyís greatest racers, Hans-Joachim Stuck, is one of the most outrageous machines he ever drove. Audiís attack on the 1989 IMSA GTO series was with a pair of tube framed, silhouette Audi 90s packing a whopping 720bhp and had they not sat out the opening races at Sebring and Daytona they would have likely been champions. Stuck won several races and the car is seen here as he drove at Mid-Ohio. The shape of the car looks good and the general decoration checks out well. Some of the detailing, such as the aerials, is very clumsy, while other areas like the side exit exhaust are very well done. The packaging for the model bears Stuckís signature if you needed any more incentive.
One of the market leaders in die-cast models. Good shapes, excellent paint and decoration. 1:43rds are kerbside while 1:18ths usually have plenty of opening parts and detail. Also an increasing number of 1:43 resincast models. Made in China.
