Marsh Models - Hussein I (Cooper Monaco Chrysler) 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hand built also available MM152M1 - Nassau & MM153M23 - Riverside Known as the Hussein in honour of the Jordanian Royal Family with whom John Mecom had business dealings, this car had a Cooper chassis and initially a Ford engine, later changed for a Dodge ‘Hemi’ which improved performance significantly and made it one of the most powerful cars racing in the USRRC. Marsh’s kit offers the car in both engine variants, so there are some changes to be made along the way depending on which you build. The Ford engine was covered with an air filter housing but the Hemi had exposed carburettors. There are also two sets of etch supplied for the front air vent and of course the decals are different. The Nassau option is the more successful, but each has its merits visually.
