Marsh Models - Hussein I (Cooper Monaco Chrysler) 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The Cooper-based Hussein of John Mecom was originally built for Ford power and it was in this form that it, unsuccessfully, contested the LA Times Grand Prix at Riverside, only completing roughly half distance. Things went rather better in Nassau when Foyt, now with a far more powerful Dodge ĎHemií engine behind him, finished second in the Governorís Trophy. The two engine types mean that we see some physical changes to the well finished models. The original Ford engined car has a large air filter housing above the engine and folded etched vents in the front radiator outlet, while on the Hemi powered car we can see the top of the engine and eight intake stacks and that radiator vent is covered in mesh. The paint on both models is excellent and both make for interesting additions to those sports racer collections.
