Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari’s very pretty 312P was sadly rather outclassed when it arrived on the racing scene in 1969, lacking the power to compete at the front with the 512s and Porsche 917s and poor reliability hampering results in class. The best results came in America with fifth in the Can-Am race at Bridgehampton and again in the Daytona 24 Hours. The well cast kit parts offer all of the five build options listed above and close attention must be paid to the images in the instructions regarding which of the fine etched spoiler and canard parts you fit prior to painting. The built models are very well finished as usual and any version makes for an attractive model, though for us the purer original form of the Le Mans versions wins out.
