Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Chaparral’s finished first and third at Las Vegas in 1965 and it is the winning car that we see here. The kit only offers the single option as there were quite a few differences to the bodywork on the two cars, most notably at the rear where this car was fitted with an adjustable rear wing. On the built model this wing is mounted in full downforce position but for kit builders the choice is yours as to where you set it. The kit parts are the usual Marsh mix of cleanly cast resin and white metal and the hand built is finished to a high standard. We commented when we saw the first variant of the Chaparral 2 from Marsh that we would have preferred to see etched inserts rather than decals for the extensive grille areas on the bodywork but apart from that, a very pleasing model.
