Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hand builts also available - MM208M15, MM208M20, MM208M21 & MM208M22. Although the Porsche 917 & Ferrari 512 were at loggerheads for most of the 1970 season, Porsche realised that their nimble 3-litre 908 was better suited to the twists and turns of the Nurburgring and two cars each were entrusted to the Gulf Wyer and Salzburg teams. Siffert led away at the start in the Gulf #20 car, closely followed by the sister #21 and then the two Salzburg cars, but Kinnunen crashed #21 and #20 broke down handing a 1-2 finish to Elford/Ahrens in the white #22 from Attwood/Herrmann in the yellow #15. The differences on the cars were purely ones of decoration so the same core parts will offer the choice of any of the four using the excellent decals provided. If building one of the Gulf cars you will need to colour match the tops of the air filters to the orange stripes and apart from that it all looks like plain sailing.
