Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hand built also available MM216M In the quest for performance there were constant changes made to the Mk2 Shadow during 1971 and we have to look very closely to see the bodywork differences between these two. Rather more obvious is the livery change, the black and white in Road America giving way to all white with fine gold pinstripes by Edmonton. The hand built Road America car is very well finished with precise masking between the two body colours and carefully applied decals. The kit should be a straightforward build and those fine gold stripes are printed as perimeters on large clear panels, so they will hold their shape nicely. It does mean that you’ll need to clear coat the whole model though unless you want large satin panels of carrier film.
