Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari P3 Can-Am Mosport 1967 Hand built available MM227M Chassis 0844 started life as a factory P3 coupe in 1966. In 1967 it passed to the NART team and late in the season they modified it into a spider for the Can-Am series. Scarfiotti drove twice, finishing seventh at Bridgehampton but crashed out at Mosport, the race depicted here. Marsh’s kit parts capture the basic shape of the car pretty well and the parts are made to the usual high standard with a clean resin for the body, dashboard and bespoke tyres, white metal for most of the other major parts and plenty of etch for the small details. Comparing the hand built model with race photos, the decal placement is accurate but there are a couple of small details which kit builders may wish to add, such as a rear diagonal to the roll-over bar and supports for the front canard fins. Slightly more tricky will be adding vents to the rear of the sill panels to mirror those at the front, something that has been missed in the casting.
