Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Jaguar XJR6 3rd Mosport 1985 #51/52 Hand built available MM228M51 and MM228M52 With the IMSA XJR5 design getting rather long in the tooth and not really suitable for World Championship races, Jaguar charged TWR with creating an all new car for the 1986 season so the XJR6 was born. It made its race debut at Mosport in August 1985 and was immediately competitive, the two cars qualifying third and fifth and one of them finishing on the podium. Marsh’s kit parts are well proportioned and the hand built models go to prove what a great looking model can be achieved. There is a small question mark on some decal placement as most of the race photos that we’ve found from Mosport show a small Dunlop logo beneath the headlight which is not on the model. They are on the decal sheet though, so those building the kits can add them if they wish.
