Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 312PB 3rd Brands Hatch 1971 #51 Kit available MM230 Ferrari officially called their 1971 sports racer the 312P but the press picked up on the boxer engine format and dubbed it the P/B and the name (in revised form) stuck. The first car was destroyed in Buenos Aires and the second made its debut at Sebring. The chassis’ second outing at Brands Hatch also saw reliability issues but once the car got going properly it managed to claw back five of the eight laps lost to early pit stops and finished third. Marsh’s hand built model is beautifully finished with deep gloss paint and lacquered in decals. The small details, such as the extremely fine tripod mirror mount and the etched intake blinds, are very neatly done and the decal placement is accurate.
