Marsh Models - Cobra Daytona Coupe Prototype 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Cobra Daytona Prototype The first prototype Cobra Daytona coupe rolled out of the Shelby American workshops onto a trailer bound for Riverside at the beginning of February 1964. The basic shape had been finalised but there were still a few tweaks made after the test sessions, for example there are fewer vents on the test car and no rear spoiler. The bodywork was in bare aluminium and Marsh have replicated this with a satin silver finish, deliberately putting a few blemishes in the casting to represent the hammer and file marks left by the panel beaters.
