Ford GT40 1st Le Mans/Daytona 24hrs/WSC 1968 Gulf by Marsh Models
Ford GT40 1968 Gulf
Twelve hand built versions available to order
It’s been a number of years since a straightforward kit of the most iconic of all GT40s has been available and we’re sure that this well thought out set of parts from Marsh will be well received. At first glance inside the box we thought that there was an error with the panel engraving on the roof as the door shut doesn’t follow all the way around. Interrogating the instructions reveals that there are fine etched pieces to fill the gap and replicate a lip on the real car that stops the tops of the door being sucked upwards at speed. There are various other small etched details, some of which are only needed for certain versions and the clearly printed decals offer no fewer that twelve build options. The Le Mans winner is the obvious choice but there are also winning cars from Spa, Brands Hatch and Monza along with sister cars from those races and more from the Nurburgring, Watkins Glen and Daytona

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
