Porsche 908/02 Sebring 12hrs 1969 #31 by Marsh Models
Porsche 908/02 Sebring 1969 #31
Kit available MM274
Sebring was the first outing for the new Porsche 908 spiders and while their performance in practice showed promise, reliability gremlins sidelined two of the cars during the race although the slowest car in practice ran steadily to record a respectable third place. All of Marsh’s hand built models are very well finished with plenty of fine detailing around the rear chassis and exposed areas of the engine. Race photos show the cars sometimes with Canard fins and sometimes without (or in the case of the #28, just one!) and the cars are all modelled with them as they were at the start.

About Marsh Models
Well established maker of high quality 1:43 kits and hand-built models. Kits feature very precisely moulded resin bodies requiring minimal clean up, equally good white metal ancillary parts, very fine photo-etching where necessary, machined wheel rims, bespoke resin tyres and clearly printed decals. Instructions usually a clearly drawn exploded diagram and often include a sample paint chip if the main body colour is an unusual one. Hand-builts beautifully built and detailed, usually from a series of 100 pieces but LE range typically from only 25. Made in England
