Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Chaparral Mk1 Road America 1964 We always think of Chaparrals as being finished in Jim Hall’s favoured off-white but the early cars found their way into private hands as Hall moved on to the mid-engined machines. This was chassis #3 and was raced by Kansas-based Gary Wilson in 1963 and ‘64. His last race in the car was at Road America where he blew the engine up. Marsh’s limited edition model is well finished and captures the decoration of the car very well, but the one colour image that we’ve found shows the car running with a Sebring specification front spoiler which has been omitted.
