Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Also available MNP20004 - Japan
The 1994 season wasn't particularly enjoyable for the Larrousse team, a number of mechanical failures to a poorly handling car seeing them on the DNF list rather too often, but Eric Comas did score points in the second race of the season at the new TI circuit in Japan and both cars made it to the end of the Monaco race, albeit out of the points. For these races the cars were wearing the striking red and white of French beer Kronenbourg rather than their regular green and this certainly makes them attractive modelling subjects. The kit is based around a cleanly cast resin body with plenty of equally good white metal for suspension and other ancillaries. There are machined aluminium wheel rims, vinyl tyres and a small amount of photo-etch for the finishing touches. The decals are clearly printed and include much templated carbon fibre, though for the main red and white on the body it will be necessary to mask and spray the two colours, matching them to the decals that are supplied for the wings. Well worth a little time to make a very pretty car.
Very well cast 1:20th resin & metal kits. Very similar in style and quality to Studio 27. Made in Japan.
