Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 512 Mexico 1964 #8 Bandini Alternative version MRCLSRC011 Monaco Ferrari first ran their flat-12 powered 512 in practice at Monza with Bandini at the wheel. They opted not to race the car there but the Italian did have it for the final two races of the season in the USA and Mexico where it ran in NART colours. In Mexico Bandini was faster than Surtees in the V8 car, but allowed the Englishman past late in the race to help with his World Championship bid, the pair eventually finishing second and third. The two-tone blue and white finish on the model is excellent with neat masking on the body sides and a seemingly perfect colour match between the painted areas and the blue stripe decal. We can see parts of the twelve-cylinder engine in the rear and the suspension and transmission are well detailed.
Very well finished resin hand built models with top quality paint finishes and much very fine and carefully applied photo-etched detailing. Also 1:43 & 1:18 resincast models made in association with Spark. Made in Italy/China.
