Innocenti 950S 1962 Black by Matrix
Alternative version MTX30902-012 Yellow
Using the platform and running gear of the original Austin Healey Sprite, the Innocenti 950S was an altogether more sophisticated baby sports car built for the Italian market. The body was styled by Ghia and featured such luxuries and the crisp design could be from many years later than its 1960 launch. The shape on the model is very good and the detailing is, for the most part, very fine indeed. The wing mirror’s a little clunky but the etched trims are extremely delicate, the folded roof looks like real fabric and the windscreen frame is nice and thin.

About Matrix
From the original creators of the Neo range, this resincast series offers a wide range of mostly road car subjects. Some are very familiar classics but we also see plenty of very rare and usual machines ranging from Maharajah's Rolls Royces to Citroen and Volvo limousines! Overall casting quality is excellent, paint finishes usually to a very high standard and plenty of fine etch used for small trim. Wire wheels on some subjects can be a little unconvincing but otherwise very consistent. Made in China.
