Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Rolls Royce Silver Cloud DHC Freestone & Webb 1958 Originally built for a Mr Moreton of Manchester, this striking drop-head coupe was nicknamed the Honeymoon Express when first shown at Earls Court, thanks to it only having two seats and consequently a cavernous luggage capacity. Just the job for wafting off to the south of France. Distinctive features include prominent rear fins and unusual concave side panels and the two-tone finish accentuates these. The model is beautifully finished in a dark blue with the side panels in a pale duck egg shade and here we have a query as although the lighter colour looks blue in photos of the real car, it is described as silver. The colours on the model certainly suit and are far more attractive, in our eyes at least, to the black in which the car has recently been ‘restored’.
Very well finished resincast models. Made in China.
