Matrix - Bentley MkV Corniche Paulin-Pourtout 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Bentley MkV Corniche Paulin-Pourtout 1939 We usually think of the ‘Embericos’ car when Pourtout and Bentley are mentioned together but this lightweight saloon also came from the drawing board of Poutout’s chief designer Henri Paulin. The car was actually built by VanVooren and was apparently a prototype for Bentley rather than a customer car. The car was destroyed in a high speed accident in France but there are a number of photos available and from these the distinctive shape looks very well modelled. The maroon finish with silver highlights suit the shape and give a tasteful, understated final result.
Very well finished resincast models. Made in China.
