Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 312PB Test 1973 At the end of a successful season with the 312PB, Ferrari’s sportscar racing future was uncertain as FIAT management were dragging their heels on a decision for the future. The Ferrari team pressed on with development of the car for the next year with radically altered bodywork which included a high rear wing and airbox to the rear. It wasn’t pretty, but it certainly looked purposeful. We’ll never know whether it would have worked as the decision came that Ferrari would concentrate on F1 only. The kit parts capture the shape pretty well and the clean castings look to be simple enough for assembly. Our only concern is the wing element which is a very thin casting and has distorted slightly.
Relatively simple resin & metal kits extremely similar in style to MG Models. Made in Italy.
