Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 166MM Land Speed Record 1948 Chinetti Also available MYS43041M built We’ve been able to find reference to Luigi Chinetti setting class speed records at Montlhery in the autumns of both 1948 and 1950, but sadly no photos. The car modelled here is a Touring Barchetta with a long, narrow bonnet scoop, hard tonneau cover and small wrap around windscreen. The kit is all metal with the bonnet and tonneau as separate, well-fitting castings and the wire wheels are in component form. It will be a simple build and the finished model is something a little different for all those Ferrari collections.
Relatively simple resin & metal kits extremely similar in style to MG Models. Made in Italy.
