Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine VW Karmann Ghia TC145 Blue VW’s Brazilian arm built a number of vehicles that were unique to South America and their take on the Karmann Ghia was very different to that seen in Europe. The design was by Giugiaro and under the skin the car used the type 3 platform rather than the type 1. From the rear the styling is very Porsche like and a dummy grille on the front disguises he car’s rear engined layout. Neo has done a very good job on the shape of the car, the paintwork on our sample is excellent and there is plenty of fine etch used for the various grilles and the window frames.
Very well finished resincast models. Mostly road cars, though with a few interesting competition subjects. Rapidly establishing themselves as one of the best ranges we see in terms of quality and value for money. Made in China
