Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Enzmann 506 VW Coupe 1957 Red/White Dr Emil Enzmann was a Swiss garage owner and came up with a design for a fibreglass body on a VW Beetle platform, the bodies being built by a relative’s boat building business. The 506 designation was apparently the stand number they were allocated at the 1955 Frankfurt motorshow where the car was launched! The car modelled was for sale a couple of years ago and is apparently one of only two built with the sliding canopy as apparently getting these to fit and seal was several day’s work! It’s a most unusual looking machine and the model matches photos in the sale advert very well. We’ve seen quite a few unusual coachbuilt VWs lately and they certainly make for an interesting collection.
Very well finished resincast models. Mostly road cars, though with a few interesting competition subjects. Rapidly establishing themselves as one of the best ranges we see in terms of quality and value for money. Made in China
