Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Citroen 2CV 4x4 Sahara 1961 Grey Citroen’s 2CV was a simple and rugged machine and the solution arrived at to make an all-wheel drive version was to fit a complete second drive train the rear of a lightly modified chassis. It was an idea which worked well, albeit at the cost of any luggage space and offered the reliability of a spare engine. The fuel tanks were under the front seats with fillers through the doors and the spare wheel had to be relocated to the top of the bonnet. The external details and shape of the car look very good and the grey colour is authentic. The model is quite simple with rather chunky wipers and thick windows, but is overall decent value.
Prolific maker of die-casts, most subjects having a French conection. Particularly good for concept cars and design studies. Made in China/France
