Austin Healey 100 BN1 Blue by Oxford
Austin Healey 100 BN1 1953 Blue
Also available OXFAH1002 Beige & OXFAH1003 Green
Having built the first twenty press and test cars at the Healey works, assembly started at Austin’s Longbridge factory for the full production version in May 1953 and very quickly demand was outstripping supply. The basic shape of the car looks good and it is smartly finished in traditional Healey Ice Blue. The raised roof is well moulded and the various small trim parts are neatly placed, if a little heavy.

About Oxford
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Overall shapes and paint finishes usually excellent. Some of the smaller detailing such as wipers can be a little heavy and wire wheels are sometimes replicated with printed acetate discs. Price point is very low, so something has to give and with a few accessories they make excellent models. Made in China for the UK.
