Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Most manufacturers first post war offerings were basically pre-war cars re-pressed, but Armstrong Siddley had been developing new models during the war and the Lancaster was released within days of the end of hostilities. The bodywork and chassis were all new and the engine, though based on a late 30s unit, was extensively upgraded and included hydraulic tappets. Oxford’s model captures the shape of the car well and the colour, a greenish grey, suits the car. Some of the detailing is a bit chunky, particularly the windscreen wipers, but for the price it offers very good value.
Traditional diecast models, mostly of historic British vehicles. Made in China for the UK.
