Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Aston Martin DB2 Le Mans 1951 #26 1:24 Alternative version PFL2499 #24 25 It takes very close side-by-side inspection of the bodies in these kits to see the difference and it lies in the profile of the leading edge of the front wing and the headlamp height, a negligible detail that many would not spot but that Jean-Philippe Boyer at Profil has. The kit parts are cleanly cast with the majority of them being in resin. The wheels are kit-form wires with cast inner rims, machined outers, resin hubs and etched spokes and there’s a fair amount of etch to finish off the body trim. The option is given to build a road car should you wish and for this there is a different dash panel and seat unit and you will also need to fill and sand the recess in the rear pillar for the pit id light should you take that option. Most will build one of the Le Mans entries which finished third, fifth and seventh in descending race number order.
