Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Loewy E Type 1966 Champagne French-born designer Raymond Loewy had some interesting ideas in car design and for his personal transport was not averse to creating unique vehicles. This Jaguar E Type is a case in point. He had the nose shortened significantly, with a large grille added and twin headlights. At the rear there were circular taillights ‘frenched’ in and a Plexiglas spoiler on the roof. The nose on this model is still almost standard E Type length, which is wrong, but the grille and lights look right and the rest of the details are pretty well done. Not necessarily an improvement on the original, but certainly different!
