Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine These very well finished hand built models differ only in the decalling and offer some interesting options in the Lancia/Ferrari story. At Silverstone Collins started the race from the front row in car #2, but broke down and took over de Portagoís #4 machine to finish second to Fangio a lap down. The Spaniard meanwhile took over Castellotiís car (money talks) and this duo were classified eleventh, a further eight laps adrift. On the fast Spa circuit the story was a qualifying battle between Fangio and Moss, the outright lap record being broken by a staggering eleven seconds by Fangio for pole position, though his race ended early with transmission failure. The decal placement looks good on all three models and we see just the right level of gloss on the paint. The fine detailing is carefully done with the delicate exhaust pipes poking through the pannier tanks being particularly neat.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
