Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Maserati 250F Aintree 200 1956 Brabham Kit available REN4329H Jack Brabham’s first outing in the ex-BRM Maserati 250F chassis 2509 was also his most successful, finishing third at Aintree. He describes the car as one of the biggest mistakes he made in his career, as the repair bills that went with such a machine nearly bankrupted him! As with the Hawthorn version of the car (REN4329HMH) we’re not convinced by the pale metallic green used by Renaissance, but that paint finish is excellent and the fine detailing, with that complex etched suspension, is very neatly done.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
