Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Maserati 250F Argentina 1955 Bucci Kit available REN4329I Unusually with a new Renaissance release, the hand built models have beaten the kit to market this time. Maserati entered no fewer than seven 250Fs in Argentina and we see two of them represented here. The weather was extremely hot and most cars saw two or three drivers taking turns behind the wheel, Bucci starting the race in car 26, which was subsequently driven by Schell and Menditeguy, before breaking down. Renaissanceís model is smartly finished with excellent red paint and on the right hand side of the cockpit cowling we see a neat little decal with the starting driverís name. This and the other decals are well placed and there is plenty of carefully assembled fine detailing, particularly where the suspension is concerned.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
