Ferrari 250 GTO Le Mans/Tour De France 1963 by Renaissance

Usually Renaissance’s GTO kits concentrate on one chassis number but here we have two, both cars delivered to Mario Abate’s Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia in 1963. There are a total of five options, chassis 4575GT is offered as red at Le Mans and on the Tour de France in 1963, both ending in retirement. Chassis 5095GT finished second on the TdF in 1963, retired in 1964 and in 1966, by now owned by the ACO, was driven by de Cortanze on the Le Mans test days. All options are basic red paint schemes and should be simple builds from well cast parts.

About Renaissance

Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
