Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 250 GTO TDF 1964 #173 Kit available REN4362-07 The 250GTO ‘bible’ by Bluemel and Pouret states that this example passed to the ACO’s ownership in March 1964 and was re-registered in France but photos from the Tour de France in September of that year show it still carrying the original Modena mark, as does the model, so it can’t have been immediate. The small body details of the car are correct, with cockpit cooling scoop on the top of the left wing and carefully placed decals for the Tour itself. The paint finish is excellent and the fine detailing all neatly fitted. Another great addition to Renaissance’s GTO series.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
