Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 250 GTO Le Mans 1963 #20 Kit available REN4362-07 These three releases arriving together shows that although they are all the same basic car type, there is still plenty of variety on show. Most obvious of course is the different colouring with the Tavano-entered #25 machine from Le Mans in silver with a Tricoleur stripe, while the car Tavano actually drove in the race is traditional red and the Sebring option is a very smart metallic blue. There are more subtle changes, such as the side vents and the arrangement of cabin cooling intakes and these are all neatly observed. Paint finishes on all of the models are excellent, the decals are precisely cut into panel lines and wheels have a realistic dull silver finish. Overall, typical of Renaissance’s attention to fine detail.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
