Ferrari 250 GTO Ring/Daytona63 #46/34/18 by Renaissance
The first of the two kits here actually depicts the last of the original ‘62 body style GTOs built (5111GT) and it was raced extensively by first owner Guichet, who won the 1963 Tour de France and finished second the following year. The second kit offers three different car options. 4219GT won the Daytona 3 Hours in the hands of Pedro Rodriguez, Noblet was second at both the Nurburgring and Spa in 3943GT and Hermann Cordes was the only German to take delivery of a new GTO and raced it extensively in national events. The main castings in both kits appear identical, with just decal changes but read the parts list and reference books very carefully as there are small additional scoops to be fitted which are not clear in the instruction drawings.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
