Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 250 GTO TDF/Montlhery 1962/63 Hand built available REN4362-16M14 Montlhery REN4362M158 TDF 62 & REN4362-12M166 TDF 63 The subject for this kit in Renaissance’s exhaustive series of 250GTOs is chassis 3909GT, which spent its early life based in Switzerland. First owner Edgar Berney raced the car under Count Volpi’s Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia during 1962 and with Scuderia Filipinetti in 1963, but failed to finish any of the three events offered in the kit. Decoration on all versions is simple with a red paint finish needed and a small amount of decaling to do, each livery is clearly illustrated in the instructions with five view drawings.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
