Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 250 GTO Montlhery 1962 #14 Alternative version REN4362-12M158 TdF 1962 REN4362-12M166 TdF 1963 & REN4362-12 kit The first owner of chassis 3909GT, Edgar Berney, raced the car under Count Volpi’s Scuderia SSS Republica di Venezia during 1962 and with Scuderia Filipinetti in 1963, but failed to finish any of the three events offered here. The decoration on the models is relatively simple with a red main finish and numbers, the addition of a white stripe to the bonnet and nose of the 1963 car adding a little more interest. As usual for Renaissance, the models are very well finished with excellent paint, neatly applied detailing and the wheels are painted in satin silver for a more realistic appearance.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
