Tojeiro Climax Le Mans 1958 #40 Bridger/Blond by Renaissance
Hand built also available REN4367M
This pretty, aerodynamic Tojeiro is a subject that has been more or less overlooked by modellers until now, quite possibly because it was one of the many smaller engined cars that failed to make it to even half distance in the race. Renaissance’s kit is well proportioned and looks simple enough once you have tidied up a few feed tags on the larger resin parts. The wheels are excellent and there is just enough photo-etch for the smallest pieces. To help with the interior detail a few photos are included in the instructions of the car as it is now. Don’t be fooled by the horrid Mountney steering wheel in the photos, the larger diameter item in the kit is far more in keeping with the one fitted back in 1958.

About Renaissance
Excellent kits and conversion sets (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Classic subjects (REN43 refs) are relatively simple builds, while the Integral series (RENI) of more modern subjects are a little more complex. Made in France
