Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Hand built also available - REN4371M We’ve seen many variants of the Simca Gordini from Renaissance over the past few issues and here we see in kit form the most competitive of the Le Mans entries they had from the early 1950s. The car, driven by Manzon & Behra, may have retired in the early hours of Sunday morning but they had been leading the race overall for several hours previously. The kit is relatively simple with a cleanly cast resin body and chassis, a handful of other resin ancillary parts, excellent wire wheels and a small selection of etched finishing parts.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
