Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Kits also available - REN4371, REN4371B & REN4371C We were so busy looking at the close up fine detail differences on these models, such as the positioning of louvres and air intakes, that we initially failed to notice something a little more fundamental which is that the 1951 car is left hand drive, while the later machines were right hand driver, presumably for better weight distribution on primarily clockwise circuits. The steering wheels on the models are a little on the chunky side but otherwise the shapes look good and all are finished to a high standard. None finished their races but best performance was from the 1952 car here which held the overall lead of the race for several hours overnight before being withdrawn due to brake problems.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
