Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine With the long rich history of Le Mans there are still plenty of subjects that have either never been modelled or at least not since the very early days of the white metal kit. The three completed models here depict the same car as it appeared in consecutive years at Le Mans and there are subtle changes to the car each time. Renaissance offer the three cars split across two kits and this is because the windscreen area is quite different, the 1951 having a simple curved screen while in the later years the scuttle was built up and a larger aeroscreen fitted above. The kit parts are simple and well cast, needing just a little clean up before painting and the very well finished hand builts show that they make for attractive subjects once completed. The etched tonneau cover is particularly neat.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
