Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Gordini T20S Mille Miglia 1953 #518 Kit available REN4381 Italian Franco Bordoni raced a pair of Gordinis during the 1953 season, one with a two-litre engine and the other with a 2.3-litre unit. He drove the larger car himself and Salvatore Casella was entrusted with the smaller machine. Casella was unable to repeat his good Targa Florio finish and on the Mille Miglia he stopped on the penultimate lap. The cars were finished in Italian red rather than the more familiar blue that we’re used to seeing on Gordinis and Renaissance have built the models very well. The complex etched radiator grilles are particularly impressive and spot on in terms of decoration.
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
