Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine When we first saw the description of this and the decal sheet we assumed that it was going to be a normal long wheelbase Landcruiser type thing sponsored by a frozen chip manufacturer but as you can see we were wrong. Yes, someone actually entered a mobile friterie on the Dakar! The rear of the vehicle was mostly as you would expect on the event, with a roll cage and a load of spare parts, but one side opened up to reveal a small serving counter and a fryer and this can be seen in action on various Youtube videos. The kit parts are very well cast as usual from Renaissance and you have the choice of modelling the truck with the rear bodywork closed or the side open and ready for service, though if you take the latter option, just as on their open door sportscars, you will have to do some cutting. Bonkers, we love it!
Excellent kits, hand-built models and accessories (for plastic) using resin bodies, white metal parts, lots of very fine photo-etching and good decals. Some castings need cleaning. Excellent instructions. Beautifully built models too. Made in France
