Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Aston Martin entered three team cars for each of the races listed here but the kits offer just one car from each event, in two out of three cases the most successful. Frere & Collins finished second at Le Mans, Walker & Poore won the Goodwood 9 Hours while Parnell & Salvadori were seventh at Dundrod, the Walker/Poore car ahead of them. The kit parts are near identical and include well proportioned white metal bodies, decent metal ancillaries, fine etched wire wheels and a small sheet of photo-etch for the steering wheel spokes, grilles and a few other tiny details. Decals are clearly printed in all cases and include the coloured pit ID flashes from the grille openings and front wings.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
