Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Cooper T60 1st Monaco 1962 McLaren Hand built available RL099M With Jack Brabham having left to start his own team, Cooperís 1962 attack was led by Bruce McLaren and though sleeker and lighter than its predecessor, the new T60 only won one race, at Monaco, when Graham Hillís BRM broke down with a handful of laps remaining and McLaren hung on to take the win from a hard charging Phil Hill. SMTS have captured the silhouette of the car very well and the cleanly cast kit parts include plenty of detail. One area that kit builders may wish to adjust is the side panel ahead of the rear wheel as the curved cut-out should extend a little further forward. Other than that it all looks good.
Reasonably well cast white metal kits that build with ease. Open wheeled subjects usually accurate, road cars not always so. With hand-built models again single seaters usually better. Made in England.
